In January 2004, Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) was commissioned by Hong Kong Optometric Association (HKOA) to conduct a survey on organizing training programs for Part 4 optometrists. The primary objective of this survey was basically to study the general perception of local Part 4 optometrists in participating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programs to upgrade their professionalism.
